Autodromo Monza Launches in Ballito

Autodromo Monza launches in Ballito.

Ballito’s first motor repair hub, Monza, is set to open in November this year.

This is very exciting news for the area, as it represents a one-stop answer to the motoring service and repair needs of both businesses and individuals in a convenient, modern, and attractive park, says Louise Gibson, MD of ComProp, marketing and managing agents for Monza. “It’s geared to take away the hassle of getting your car repaired - right down to the courtesy waiting lounge for clients to relax with a cup of coffee whilst reading the newspaper or watching TV”

Maximising the sloping topography of the site, the development will be built on 3 levels of multi-use commercial space, with the motor town forming the central hub. Clean, modern architectural lines and an emphasis on light and space are hallmarks of the development, with ample parking at each level.

The centre court level has been specifically designed to accommodate the anchor tenant, a Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) vehicle testing station to meet the proposed new stringent requirements on motorists to comply with road worthy standards. Gibson adds that this new legislation on motor testing guarantees a steady clientele with the natural flow of business to the various motor spares, auto-electrical and related service outlets. Another key tenant in the mix is the MIDAS group and a state of the art motor repair workshop, currently based in Johannesburg, and now opening a branch at Autodromo Monza.

She believes that a further attraction of this motor hub is its strategic location in the heart of the Ballito Business Park and its ease of access to both the main outer-ring N2 road and the M4.

The space is being competitively marketed from R60.00 per square meter (excl. VAT), with more than half of the complex already committed prior to the main launch which takes place on site and in true motoring style on the 25 of August. The launch will include a display of vehicles by Audi, live entertainment and will be supported by the likes of Dunlop & Red Bull.

Well established Ballito developer, Robow Developments, are behind the project, which follows on from their other successful commercial developments in the area including Laguna Seca, Crowthorne Corner, Silverstone Way, Kyalami Park, Suzuka and Brooklands Industrial Park.
